Folks- Laying out a conventional FW Bridge, Cap input PS for a 8877. 3500V, 1 A. My transformer sec 6 ohms. Using Duncan Amps software: http://www.duncanamps.com/psud2/index.html I get large amounts of ripple (400 V), depending of course on uF used, esr of caps, etc. I have looked at a number of amp PS schematics; Alpha, Henry, etc. Anyone ever actually measure ripple on their amp? Forget the simulations? Thanks Charlie N6CFH _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
