Hi Jeff

about 10 years ago you were trying to figure the drive requirements for
a doherty amplifier.

Did you ever get an answer?

Your comments make sense if the transmitter is using triodes, but I
believe the 316F uses tetrodes in which the screen voltage is modulated
also.  Perhaps this is the source of confusion.

I expect to be taking a couple of 316Fs as backups, and will be
replacing the drivers.
