[Amps] RKR no longer transfering warranty?

Hi Guys,
 
Is it true that RKR is no longer allowing amps made 2-3 years ago by  the 
former Alpha owner to be transferred if the amp  gets sold?   I thought RKR 
was allowing the warranty to be  transferred for a fee, am I wrong?
