Its been a long time since I replaced the open frame power relay in mine
and installed a vac relay for output and small RF relay for input
switching. I removed the OEM relay and mounted it in that general area
using the same RG8 pigtails that supplied RF to the OEM relay. I believe
I made a small vector board to hold mine, but its been over 20 years and
I didn't take photos unfortunately. I would not suggest moving the QSK
board anywhere near the output circuit above the deck. Hot glue or RTV
doesn't sound like a long term solution, as if it every comes loose,
expect fireworks when it falls onto the bottom cover. If you can, use
the screw holes for the OEM relay to mount the assembly.

I?ve got a SB220 thats been on the bench since last year. It?s
nearing completion but I have a few remaining items left. One of the
last is finding a place for the W7RY QSK board and a pair of vacuum
relays I found on eBay. I?m looking for some guidance on the best
location for mounting the relays. They came in a nice bracket but
IcanTMt seem to find a good orientation. There are some phots online
but not many that show dual relays. Any guidance/photos from the
group would be very much appreciated. Related, I assume using some
kind of glue (silicon ahesive) instead of drilling holes would be
ok?
