Regarding Icom's PW-1, when I was searching for a new amp, was told the
tuner section was shaky at best. Costly to ship to local Icom repair
center, doubly costly to fix.
Bought a manual tune Ameritron AL-82 does legal plus a few more, I am happy. Auto tune amps are nice, but manual tuned ones still fit the bill better. Best bang for the buck kind of thing.
