I came across this video he other day.

First of all I do not know how he stays in Business, It is very obvious
who he is making amps for mostly, and the power levels 3KW,

BUT.. It is quite amazing at what he is making, like in the video is a
3KW SS Amp that is tiny, and seems very light. 80 thru 6, no tuners
nothing no adjusting, Thoughts?

## Its 11m only. They either dont install a LP filter for 11 meters, making
the
wattmeter read even higher... or they do install a LP filter. For monoband
use, they
dont require a myriad of LP filters. With no LP filter at all, the wattmeter
will then
see the harmonics as well.

## go to 21.20 where he shorts out the output coax...then slices right
through..with a
wide open...then puts the screwdriver on the cut coax...with flames coming out
of it,
and ldmos still survives. Both a dead short..and a wide open will produce an
infinite
high swr.

## https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMVuWqM9BuM here, the same fellow really
gets
into making flames, sparks. It still survives.

## story I got was he buys the boards in kit form, from that fellow from 4x4
land, who sells what ever
you want. Then just configure it how u want, with as many modules, and
combiners as you want.
Then add LP filters for only the bands you require. That fellow in russia
also sells kits, and sub
assemblies, etc. They will no doubt latch onto the latest and greatest 1.8 kw
 ldmos.

later... Jim VE7RF
