Hi Mike,
That's a star wrench from ancient times.
Beware! An internet search will likely bring up Torx (6 spline wrenches)
rather than the true 4 point star.

Subject: [Amps] Help with Henry Amp mechanical challenge

Greetings,
I am repairing a Henry
1KD5 for a friend. It was a 80-15m model that
was upgraded to 80-10m and no longer
worked on 40-20m. I found that the cam
shaft switches used for fixed tank C
were not band aligned with the
bandswitch leaving padder caps in place
on 40/20m.
Simple to fix
right? My problem is I went to loosen the shaft
coupler
and looked for the allen screws.
Difficult for me to see but with some
visual aids I see that this amp has
what looks like a phillips spline type
screw. Approximately 2mm or
0.079" inside the shaft fit, but it appears to
be a X shaft spline. What is the
proper name for this screw and tool that
would be used to remove it?
Also there are 4 screws,
2 each on 90 degree offsets. Two I can get to,
and the other 2 are accessible maybe
with right angle tool, like an allen
wrench was made to do. Any hints
on access or maybe swap the couple out
completely for one that uses standard
hardware.
Many thanks in advance
from the not mechanically inclined.
