That style cap is obsolete for most and is a bit pricey. Ameritron still uses them to this day and are 270 uF and are somewhat cheaper.

I used them in my own 76PA

Subject: [Amps] Alpha 76A Filter Caps?

Hey All,

I've got an Alpha 76A which has not been powered up by me in two years,
and perhaps a few more by the previous owner.

I was thinking of removing the tubes and bringing up the power slowly using
a variac to see if
I can reform the caps.

Or is it better to simply replace them?

I've been looking for Caps. They are not easy to find.

Would

Might these fit in the amplifier?

Thanks in advance.
