Right good points  Paul, I especially like that the OM 2000A+ has 6m, and that 
it can be controlled via Ethernet..
Loads of reserve for digital modes for sure. No plans beyond the 2000A+ here, 
plus that 4001A needs special wiring, a 2nd 240V line.

But at the expense of losing 6m coverage with the tube pair.  I use an OM Power 
2000A+ during the winter months at my remote station on the FL/GA state line.  
It's been a great amp but not without some minor issues that are described on 
my QRZ page.   I certainly would not want to forgo 6m operation for the extra 
power.  The 2000A+ already does 2KW+ with high duty-cycle modes.
