It's a PS--2500A, made by Watts unlimited. They
seem to no longer be with us.

Dr. Tim Hulick (W9QQ) became SK many years ago -
I want to say 15 years ago or so. The FCC ULS
shows W9QQ was canceled 2007-12-28.

I thought there was.a design on QEX at one time. But maybe it was QST?
There are some consumer microwaves that use AC/DC converters in
switchmode.

We have commercial 10 kW Glassman switchers at work that put out 1500
VDC at 6 Amps but they are not cheap. They power screen grid on TH628L RF
tube.
