Check to make sure when you turn the load and tube controls that the variable
caps actually turn and they don’t slip.  How is the input SWR?

HI All

I just retubed my 811H with a new set of 811a's.  After doing that, I am
still not getting any output like I should.  The antenna is tuned on
frequency, but when I switch the amp on. the output power stays the same.
Thought maybe the watt meter was reading wrong, but checked it with another
one and the same thing.

There is about 1.3kv when key down, and the meter reads about 450ma, but
the watt meter reads about 50 watts, and I am driving the amp with about 60
watts.  Scratching my head on this one.The TR relay in the amp clicks when
I key up, so think it is working ok.  Maybe it is not switching the amp in
line?  Thanks for any ideas and 73
