Here the German EBM-Papst blower is installed, which also uses a start cap.
There is also a pressure interlock sensor, so with a loss of airflow, it
all shuts down asap.
This is the same blower as what was used on the 6M amp. The tube requires
204 cfm @ .4" pressure, with an air inlet temp of 40 C (104 F). This blower
will do 330 cfm @ .9"..... and per my calcs, will provide for a 20%
increase in CCS anode dissipation..... IE: 7.2 kw CCS. With a more sane 25
C (77F) inlet air temp, anode diss is increased some more... up to 8 kw CCS.
We are trying to get the HV metering sorted out, using the existing
multimeter setup in the old cabinet. After that, the pair of plate xfmrs
will be installed into cabinet #2.....and the B+ supply can be tested. Stay
