I am just returning to CQ-CONTEST after having changed my
mail address and find a discussion going on about
a beam heading program. Well, I have also been looking for a
program that will draw an azimutal map centered around a
given location on earth and found - nothing.
So I wrote one myself, not very elegant, but it works ok for
me. What you need is AutoCad as my program will produce a
script file which is in turn read into a drawing file.
The program uses the geograpical data which is available
on some FTP servers. It reduces the amount of points before
it starts drawing so it will not take forever.
Someone wanna try it? Give me a public FTP address where I can
put it!
