Forgive me, I'm still new at this. When you guys are harping about putting
the email address on the message, is the header above sufficient? Now I read
that, specifically, the email address is supposed to go at the end. Why?
MANY people have expressed a need for EVERYONE to be "line-conscious" and to
not babble on for paragraphs what can be said in less. PerhapsWeShouldLeave
OutTheSpacesToo?
I don't get it. This message looks complete to me without even putting any
indication of who I am at the END.

On 5/20, Japanese Postal and Telecommunication services
announced to release another 75 meters band window which
is from 3747 to 3754 KHz. Total windows on 75 meters are
now 3500 to 3575, 3791 to 3805, and 3747 to 3754 KHz.
Anybody who have a license can get this privilege right
after the announcement.
Our goal is to push government to open the 75/160 meters
bands more wider as a world most ham radio crowded country.
Don't forget 3747 to 3754 KHz when you try to work JAs.

Is anyone using a Nel-Tech DVK-100 with a TS-940? I have wired
mine according to instructions from another user with this setup
but am getting "noise" (e.g. "scratchy") either in the record
process or the playback. I suspect the pin outs may not be
correct.
Would appreciate any info on wiring this "old timer" up.

Hey, why don't some of you wacky Canajuns use a VE prefix in
some of these contests? That's becoming the rarest one around!
You give us heart attacks with prefixes like CH6 that make us
think for a moment that you are in Gambia (on cw, anyway), and
then there are those that start with an X, getting the adrenalin
flowing in case it's one of those rare Far East prefixes.

Well, while it seems everyone else is *advertising* the
fact that they'll be active in WPX CW this weekend, I wont
miss the opportunity.
As usual, don't miss 9V1YC on ALL bands LOW POWER (100W) this
weekend. Chances are I wont be able to work any Stateside,
but if I do, and conditions are decent, it will be around
1200-1500Z on 20M.
Hopefully, we will have the S6 prefix for use by next year's
WPX, but unfortuantely the telecoms dept. hasn't approved it
as of this week, so sorry, no new prefix.

Hi all - I was talking with a local who told me he is very unhappy with
the indicator on his TIC ring rotor. He sez the preset knob is fine, but
meter needle flies all around. Anyone else experience this? If so, any
