It was so hot in the shack, I used a headband to hold an ice pack on
my forehead. Apart from that and the usual taking a few hours to hit
my stride, it was fun. One day I'll come out feeling comfortable and
have a few great first hours instead of struggling through them.

This contest is a LOT of fun! Good sporadic E on 10 and 15 in the
evening made it interesting moving multipliers from the lower bands. You
could never be sure if there was going to be a path or not.

Subject: Stacking small tri-banders

Has any had experience stacking small tribanders such as the Cushcraft A3?
What heights, spacing, matching system, etc. did you use? What were your
results? Is it worthwhile?
Has anyone experienced trouble with interaction between the A3 and
2 el 40 meter beams on the same tower?
What other tribanders in this size range would you recommend?

the top difference between the 940 and 930 as you
know, the <lack> of any computer interface at
all.
despite this, the 930 is still a popular rig,
but i'd think that a full computer interface is
something that one couldn't do without.
in terms of operater interface, i think the 930
is better with its simpler, cleaner layout.
you really want that computer interface.
for casual operation or as a second rig, the 930
would be fine.
