Well, the corrections and additions have slowed to a trickle, so I thought
I'd post an updated score rumor listing for the NAQP SSB.

As always, send me corrections/additions to me at ka9fox@aol.com. I'll
probably post one more listing next week. 73 Scott KA9FOX

John,

You mention the "cone" of protection. Actually the protected zone is more
nearly described by the outside surface of a sphere. The sphere has a
radius of about 150 feet. So to visualize the protected area, imagine a
150 foot radius sphere rolling around the property. Anything that can get
touched by the sphere's surface can be touched by a lightning stroke.

Subject: Antenna modelling software
Message-ID: <Pine.3.89.9408261940.B29593-0100000@canada.unbc.edu>

The recent discussion on ground effect has me thinking about trying some
experiments at the VE7ZZZ contest site. First, though, I need to get my
hands on some antenna modelling software. If any of you are aware of any
freely available code, in source form (C, C++, or FORTRAN), I would
appreciate it if you could forward a short summary of the package, along
with pointers to where it can be obtained from. I will summarize the
results and report back here.

I'm only interested in software available in source form since this has
to run on by BSD/386 system. Technical reference documents that contain
clearly written design algorithms are also useful as I can translate
these into software.

Thanks,
