I am sure others besides W5ASP would like to obtain a copy of those
files if available. If anyone is planning on using NA for CAL QSO Party,
in-state, California seems to be missing as a MULT. Fixing that is an
exercise in learning about their file structure. CT and TR seems to
work as is, fortunately.

Yeah, I agree that it's really not that hard to get a second radio going.
I have used two radios for SS QRP and it makes Sunday afternoon a LOT less
borrrrrrinnggggg. Any time your rate is less than 60, a second radio can
be used easily. I've used a simple audio left/right/both switchbox and
a/b keying switch. Also, Dave's article in NCJ a couple of years back
about the automatic drop-out switchbox works pretty well. Give it a try
in a QSO Party or some such where the pressure isn't really on and see if
you like it!

Saludos, I got back from work on Saturday about 0145Z and jumped into
the fray with my 40m vertical wire and TS-440S/AT. Not a QSO on 80 and
precious few on 40. ended up with 53 X 24. Best DX was ZD8Z who finally
figured out who was calling him. Thanks for the good ears, Jim.
It seems we have a tough time on SSB remembering to send both call signs.
I got the impression some were trying their darndest to remember and others
didn't seem to care all that much. Hmmm.
Is there a time limit between finishing a QSO on a given frequency and being
able to make another one there in desperation? Later in the evening it
seemed that the only relatively clear frequency down here was 7183 or so.
I would search 40 for a CQ, try several myself, go to 20 and hear noise,
and then find someone on 7183 5 minutes after the last QSO. AArrgghhh!

Maybe the chap didn't know K3MQH personally and maybe K3MQH didn't know what
was up before hand, but I find it stretching credibility to think that
someone totally unconnected with the operation, with nothing other than
their own initiative would go to such efforts. Hams are great folks but this
is a bit much. As far as the effectiveness of this "technique", a look at
the QSO totals suggests that SOMETHING was a out of the norm.
