A comment on RFI...
I have used a groundplane on the desktop, under the equipment and the
keyboard, for many years... This can be aluminum or copper flashing...
Thicker material is more durable and you can hunt the scrap yard for a
desktop sized piece of of .030, or so, thickness. Strips of roof flashing
can be be used, overlapped a couple of inches and the laps popriveted or
screwed together every 6"... Run a WIDE strap from the groundplane to the
best ground you have... Each piece of gear is grounded with a short piece of
strap ,1/2" or more wide, to the groundplane, with as short a run as
possible...If there is gear on shelves above, they should be handled the same
way, with WIDE straps interconnecting all of the planes...I have not found it
necessary to use ferrite chokes...
Cheers ... Denny k8do@aol.com

Last call for updates!
Looks like January NAQP's are the place for higher scores...
..except maybe in sunspot minimums.
