vcr interference

Subject: vcr interference

Here are a couple of easy things to try regarding vcr
interference.

1. If they are trying to watch a tape, disconnect the cable tv
lead from the vcr input. A lot of rf comes down the outside of
that shield.

2. Try switching the vcr output to channel 4 instead of
channel 3, or vice versa. There's usually a switch on the back
of the vcr.

These are a couple of the things my xyl is trained to tell the
neighbors on the phone. Sometimes it cures the problem. At the
least, it establishes a constructive dialog (usually.)
