Well, let's forget about the 10-Meter Contest, OK? :-)

1) Why not a 6m contest? Or a 10-6-2m contest, sans FM. Or maybe not
sans FM. I think that there are a lot of folks like myself that are
intrigued by the possibilities of contesting on 6 and 2, but have never
had the impetus to put up the necessary gear. What with all the new rigs
featuring 6 and 2-m CW/SSB/FM, it seems like a worthwhile idea.

2) Add 6m to existing HF contests? Hmmm...I have mixed feelings.

For domestic contesting, 6 would just serve to give the metropolitan areas
another pool of QSOs unavailable elsewhere. I would not like to see 6m
added to Sweepstakes or NAQP, for example. Sporadic-E would not serve to
fill in blanks for the rest of us.

DX contests maybe would benefit. If all the Caribbean operations took 6m
rigs along, who knows what might happen? I don't know if I could work
them from WA, but maybe we'd have a shot at a JA or two. I would be
interested in seeing ARRL DX add 6m on a trial basis for a couple of
years.

Now looking for a Benton Harbor Lunchbox or a Gooney Bird...
