I'm pleased to hear you and Wade are making the trip! I've heard from
several other distant contests who also intend to join at least 200 PVRC,
FRC and NCDXA members at the W3LPL Open House this Saturday!
Directions to W3LPL from the north:
Follow I-83 South towards Baltimore
Take Exit 13 (I-695 West) towards Washington DC
Follow I-695 West to Exit 16 (I-70 West) towards Frederick.
Follow I-70 West to Exit 80 (Md Rt 32 South) towards Clarksville
As you travel down the exit ramp, bear left to Rt 32 South, then turn
left at the STOP sign onto Rt 32 South.
At first traffic signal, turn right onto MD Rt 144 West towards Cooksville
Follow Rt 144 for three miles, and turn left on McKendree Rd.
Follow McKendree Rd for one mile and take the second left onto Hobbs Rd.
Follow Hobbs Rd for one mile and it will be V E R Y obvious when you
have found my QTH!
Park in front of the towers.
