indeed 'SIL was concise and quick....but Nose was sly and cunning....his
technique off insighting a frenzy by not "hearing" guys calling him was
inspired - this was well before packet or even 2 meter alerting so the big
masses of stations calling him attracted attention - he would broadcast for
a while til the pile grew and then fed off of the thick pile which had
become self re-fueling!
