Unless Marijan himself did experience some 30KW amplifier, getting
confirmations of such theory in his recent Italian ARRL MM phone
effort from II3T or may be somewere else, this comment only reminds
to the famous tale of "The Fox and the Grape" where the Fox has been
caught by the unreal myth of the "italian defrosters", but gives no
real remedia to overcome the unavoidable phisical reason, the distance.

Moreover, to hear or not to hear among nearby stations is often a
matter of local noises, such as power lines or any RF generated by
other industrial plants, when not a temporary situation due to a
wave skip or antennas at different heights.

Not everybody is so lucky to have a mountain peak or a low-level
industrialized area where setting his contest station.

In any case, the propagation is not "generated" by amplifiers,
knowdlege can't be bought, while a ticket to some good place yes.
It's anyway better not to leave home if missing one of them.

The above comment is sounding twice obscure:
first, until a Contest pretend to be a WW one, it's hard to understand
why intelligent people should not pay attention to all the comments,
  wherever they came from.
Second it looks like if Slovenia is one of the continental state of USA.
