Now that the HF contest season is winding down, except for IARU and Field
Day, some of you may be thinking about trying some of the upcoming
VHF/UHF contests (especially since there are more HF+VHF rigs available
now). So, in an effort to keep you informed of the latest in contest
evolution ..... there is the latest issue of CQ VHF. It will be easy to
spot on the newsstand shelf; there is a bright yellow 'star burst' with
the words "Contest Special!" just over the head of WB6NOA who is
operating a Yaesu FT-847. There is even a 1/3 page writeup inside titled
"On the Cover"! WHY can't the parent magazine, CQ, do this with their
covers????
