In a message dated 98-07-04 14:20:53 EDT, you write:

<< Sure you were. If you had two hours for the test before you had to
turn in your sheet and you finished in one hour, you certainly could
take the remaining time to go over your answers. In a contest you are
given x number of days to turn in your log. What's the difference?

The difference is clear. In your example, you are given 3 hours to finish the
test. If you finish early, you can review it ON YOUR OWN. You can NOT get
out the text book and check it, can you? In CQWW, you are given 48 hours to
"take the test." After that, you can NOT change your answers. You are
permitted to do "housekeeping" functions, like mark dupes, zones, countries,
points, calculate the score, etc., but you can NOT alter your effort. Okay?
