[CQ-Contest] Ethics - WWV via packet

Subject: [CQ-Contest] Ethics - WWV via packet

This is probably just angels on the head of a pin, but is it against
contest rules for a single op to use packet once or twice during a contest
solely to ascertain WWV prop conditions? You could argue it's not
appreciably different from turning on a second RX and listening directly to
WWV at 18 past the hour, but of course it is more convenient to be able to
get current conditions and "last few" data whenever you want to.

But is it AGAINST THE RULES? Contest sponsors?
