I find it interesting that during the CW portion of the recent ARRL
Sweepstakes I recall being sent very few, if any "cut" numerals. Is this a
difference in contest sponsers' rules - ARRL vs. CQ; the participants - US
& Canada vs. worldwide; or the fact that you really have to copy the
exchange as sent in SS - real information vs. some kind of rote
incantation? It certinaly can't be, as some have theorized, that noone
wants to maximize rate in SS; there are lots of VERY competitive stations
on for that contest!
