[CQ-Contest] 10 Meter Contest Results

Subject: [CQ-Contest] 10 Meter Contest Results

Just returned from Alaska, but have been following the discussions on
the 10 Meter Contest results while there.

Finally got a chance to look over the results on the ARRL Web Site. I
finished 4th Low Power, CW only, but have a question ....

The "Top Ten" box for CW Low Power (single op) shows ...

#1 K5SZ
#2 NA5B
#3 K7QQ
#4 WD4AHZ

But, in the results, K7QQ is listed as K7QQ (+Packet Cluster)

So ... K7QQ SHOULD be listed with the Multi-Ops and NOT with the
Single-Ops (if he indeed, did use packet), correct??

Maybe putting as much scrutiny into checking over the results, as is put
into checking the logs is now in order. I even wonder if K5SZ and NA5B
are indeed in the correct category (LP) ... they didn't post scores to
the 3830 reflector, so I can't check.

I USED to like the 10 Meter Contest, but the screw-ups and controversies
in log collecting, log checking, and published results in recent years,
has got me re-thinking that.
