The TS850 is a popular radio in contesting. I have recently had an
alarming failure rate of a specific component. I would like to know
if other people have seen the same problem or not.
If you have had your radio serviced recently, and one of the parts
replaced cost more than $10 - then it is possible you have seen the
same thing.

I have had 4 parts fail out of 12 (across 3 radios) and have found at
least one case where 3 parts failed in someone elses radio.
Perhaps I will start a "TS850 Service" web page with the data.
