I thought some of you might be interested in hearing a little
experiment I did during the ARRL DX SSB 2000 test at W3LPL's. K1RZ/Dave
and myself K1RA/Andy worked the 15m band and while we did I managed to
digitize 10+ hours of activity. Ive since encoded the original WAV
files into MP3 streaming audio format and made it available for
real-time listening. That means the audio can be listened to while you
download it, given you have the appropriate media player and at least a
24Kbps connection to the net. There are 10 streams available to choose
from, in one hour chunks each.
This is my first attempt at digitizing a contest and note there is
some minor distortion on some of the tracks, but nonetheless, give a
listen and let me know what you think. For more details about the
