Hello Contesters,
if interested, please find below Signal reports as noted
during the WPX SSB weekend. The list contains DX as heard
here in DL.
TS870 with a GP Ant on 20/15 and a 2 El Yagi on 10. Spent
only a few mins on 15/20.
Some comments abt 28 MHz:
KL7RA was much stronger than anybody else from the US.
He was S9 abt 30 mins before I could hear any signals from
W6/7. This was quite unusual. A friend in north DL told me,
there he was just S6. Here near Munich he was peaking S9+25!
This year the best signal reports were not "reserved" for those
in W1-3 land. Guys like NR6O and NN6NN were so strong as if
they were operating from NJ or so... and didn't have the usual
"arctic" Sound on their signals.
JA's were S9 or better for over 8 hours.
Hope you other "small pistols" had as much fun as I did.
