Propagation forecast for the forthcoming contest weekend
is ready for download - please visit the Unofficial YU DX Contest Site
at http://yudx.net.
Forecasts are available for RX locations in each of 75 ITU zones.
There are six pages per RX location, one for each band from 1.8 to 28 MHz,
giving expected relative signal strength in dBs for TX locations
in each of 75 ITU zones.
If you need a forecast tailored to your specific location,
please write to webmaster@yudx.net.
The forecast was generated using ICEPAC, an improved version of VOACAP,
and VA3TTN's control & formatting program, written in Component Pascal.
The forecast is based on solar activity forecast from IPS.
ITU zone maps and tables are also available.
If the IPS solar forecast changes significantly, a new forecast will be
uploaded
late in the UTC evening on Friday, April 20, 2001.
