A final reminder, the 2001 Michigan QSO Party, sponsored by the Mad River
Radio Club, will run this Saturday, April 21 from noon to midnight EDST
(16Z on April 21 until 04Z on April 22 UTC). Full rules, along with free
logging software, log and summary sheets, are available on the MRRC web
site at http://www.qsl.net/mrrc/mqp.html.
MRRC is pleased to announce the awards program for MiQP 2001:
- Certificates will be awarded to the top five single operator entries in
the high power, low power, and QRP categories, with separate awards for
both Michigan and non-Michigan stations.
- Certificates will be awarded to the ten highest scoring mobile stations
within Michigan.
- Plaques will be awarded in the following categories:
High Score - Michigan Single Operator - High Power
High Score - Michigan Single Operator - Low Power
High Score - Michigan Single Operator - QRP
High Score - Michigan Multi-Operator
High Score - Michigan Mobile
High Score - Michigan Club
High Score - Non-MI Single Operator - Eastern/Central Time Zone
High Score - Non-MI Single Operator - Mountain/Pacific Time Zone
High Score - DX Single Operator
The log deadline is May 22, 2001 and electronic logs can be sent as e-mail
attachments to mqp@contesting.com.
