Really need to save some money? Go one step further and just cancel the
printed version of QST altogether. Much of the stuff is readable on their
web site well before the magazine arrives anyway. They could compensate the
paper loss by electronically publishing the product reviews a few months
earlier than they do now.
If a printed copy of QST is still desired, it could consist of a few color
pages, averaging a dozen or so each month, of advertisements for Yaesu,
Kenwood, Icom, and HRO.

Hey: technical articles with interactive Java applets, video clips of the
latest DXpedition, animated product reviews, and David Sumner personally
reading his monthly editorial. I think you have a winning idea there, John!
