I don't understand the confusion.
The contest will be held on April 1, same as every year. I announced the
full rules last night around 03Z on 20M CW. I am pretty sure VP6DI copied
them OK - even though I was running QRP I was on a nice clear frequency
around 14075.
For the record, there are no QRP categories in the Poisson d'Avril. Life's
too short, and we are all getting older. Some of us will actually get a
whole year older just during this contest.
I will win the P d'A again, same as every year. And I don't understand why
people would protest my winning every year and quit trying. After all, did
people complain when K1AR won the CQWW and ARRL DX contests all those years?
Oh, wait...maybe that's a bad example. Never mind.
I'll try to get around to posting some rules this week if the medication
takes hold. Or better yet, make up your own. I'm flexible. Winner in each
category I approve gets the secret password for Crowne Plaza room
reservations. I can't tell you now what the password is, but it's a kind of
a fish.
So if you think you have a category you can win, give it your best shot.
