I agree that making time-to-published-results as short as possible is a great
goal. But, two weeks is too tight a restriction in too many circumstances.
DXpedition groups commonly spend the week following the contest on vacation
without internet access, leaving only one more weekend to get it done. Multi's
often have technical problems that make assembling the final log a challenge.
And, log submission by non-English speaking DX participants and novices who are
unfamiliar with contest software is not trivial. And there are those of us who
want to decompress and have nothing to do with the radio or the log for a while
after a big effort. So, I think a month is pretty reasonable.
