Bob,
Don't worry about not having arranged it sooner. There is no sooner,
apparently. I think the last time there was an open season on the rooms
where the hotel was taking reservations, they were gone within in minutes of
the opening bell.
So, looking for someone who has a room to share might be the best way to go.
So, go for it.
But, only after me.
Anyone need a roommate at Crowne Plaza for the Hamvention? All I need is a
six-foot x four-foot piece of room floorspace on which to throw me and my
sleeping bag.
