 I think that David Bloom had the same hereditary clotting factor that runs 
in my family, Factor V Leiden.  Makes the risk of blood clots 4 or 5 time 
worse.  Then sitting in an enclosed tight vehicle with dehydration..... 

Take an aspirin a day.  If you really are at risk, get the Doctor to get you 
one dose of Plavix and you won't clot for 10 days. 

Drink lots of fluids and you will need to get up an stretch. 

Cigarettes are a no no.
