Hi Steve

Take a look at NCJ for nov/dec 2003
Just to get this one going

1 The Radio MUST be reliable , waterproof coffee proof Pepsi and Coke proof
and CAT/DOG proof.
2 I Suggest finding a LOANER /demo of to try in your shack
4 Spares must not cost a mint to get
5 It's better to have a ergonomic radio THAT SUITS YOU with the Bells and
whistles you use rather than a multitude you cant
6 If you find yourself searching for basic RIG controls in practice mode (Oh
oh) RF Gain Shift Notch etc
7 Suggestion is to set everything in contest mode and run a few dummy S&P
contacts the try running .
8 If you have a small desk go for Bigger radio with separate PSU on Floor
9 See NCJ Nov/Dec 2003
