Gang,
I think this idea has been floated before, but part of the problem of a busy
contest calendar is the number of state QSO parties. Perhaps combining these
into regional contests with separate scores for each state and overall
regional scores would both encourage activity and clean up the calendar.
No doubt about it, the Sprint is the best and most challenging contest ever.
The skills gained make everyone better operators. The question is how we
displace other activity to facilitate more Sprint or Sprint-like contests.
