See June QST pages 45-47. Take a look at the statistics about "Joe Hamm". I'm 
sorry, but it gets me depressed when I think about it. Born in 1945, licensed 
for 25 years, retired, spending less than $800 a year on the hobby . . . ugh.

Can we run the same stats on the contesting population? I hope the numbers will 
be more uplifting.
