Hi Ed,
I do hear them CQ'ing on the higher bands, but nowhere near the signal
strengths normally encountered. Many of the JA 40m stations use Japanese and
are difficult to break into.   Maybe a HL or a JA station could give a
closer-in perspective.

Interesting...do you find many of them are CQing and I am just not hearing
many?  Or are they coming back to you CQing?
