Hello W4 and W5 contesters,
Bill Fisher, W4AN, organized and named the Southeast Sprint Coalition a
few years ago to try to make us W4's and W5's competitive with the west
coast CW Sprint teams. Tennessee Contest Group, Southeast Contest Club
and Florida Contest Group members have been regular participants, and
we invite members of those clubs and any other W4 or W5 who is
unaffiliated with another team to join us for the next running of the
contest on the night of September 11 (Sept 12 UTC).
If you're interested, drop me a note to w4pa @ yahoo dot com and I'll
add you to our list.
In case you missed it in the last NCJ Sprint results, Tree N6TR asked
for a voluntary 1 minute silence at the 0000Z Sprint Sept 12 start in
memory of Bill. I intend to honor that request and would encourage
others to do so as well.
