I totally agree. My SO 1.5R station consists of a TS-930 and an HF9V
vertical for the second radio. It works surprisingly well and, as Bill
says, teaches you how to do this stuff.

No, the setup will not be optimal. It will not be automatic like the WX0B s

become proficient in SO2R. It's been a long time, and I am still
learning how
to do it.
