I too understand EU station's frustration during the 160 contests. I usually
look deep for DX because I just enjoy working them. Many, many times a
strong NA station is calling CQ just a few hundred hz away and make it very
difficult to copy the dx. I imagine the NA station doesn't even know the DX
is there.
