Good morning, all:

I am done with my procedure to add DOS to a Windows XP computer
for now. If anyone would like to try it and give me some comments,
let me know and I'll e-mail you the PDF file (about 1.5 MBytes).
The procedure does not require destroying the Windows XP
installation and adds the option to boot to "pure" DOS on a new
computer.

If anyone is interested in contributing to a section on how to finish
a FreeDOS installation and get it working with TR and/or CT, please
let me know. I've done some preliminary tests with TR-Log and
the FreeDOS beta9sr1 release (www.freedos.org) and TR-Log runs
fine in simulator mode. This is very promising...

If anyone is successfully running contests from a USB stick and would
like to contribute to a section on doing this, also let me know. I have
DOS successfully booting from USB sticks, but haven't had a chance
to try it in a contest yet.

I hope to get some time to add to this, but it won't be soon!

73,

Mark, KD4D
