Good day, all:
I have succeeded in generating the first version of a DOS CD containing
CT10. This CD will boot DOS on almost any modern computer. If
your BIOS does not enable DOS to recognize a USB stick, this CD also
contains a USB driver that makes that work on two of my machines.
This runs on FreeDOS so I can send you a copy!
Insert it into the computer and boot. The first time, answer (1)...
detect CD and don't detect USB. The CD will create a RAM disk drive.
See if your USB stick is at some drive letter (C, D, or E probably).
The CD will be at R:.
If the USB stick isn't there, unplug the USB stick. Reboot and
plug the stick back in when you get a prompt and select (2).
You should be able to run CT10 with the log and configuration
files either on the USB stick or in a RAM disk.
If you are interested in testing this FIRST release (almost totally
untested), let me know and I'll send you the ISO image. If
you need directions on burning a bootable CD, see
my DOS Windows XP dual-boot procedure on www.k1ea.com
or www.trlog.com.
If you have any questions, let me know.
73,
Mark, KD4D
