Does anyone know anyone who will calibrate a Bird 43 wattmeter and slugs relatively inexpensively? Bird wants $60 for the meter, $50 each for a 50 watt and 250 watt slug and $100 for a 2500 watt slug (all 2 - 30 mhz.) I bought these used and EVERY SINGLE item reads low below tolerance, when compared to a friends wattmeter (which is right on what the transmitter and amp reports.) 73, Ken, K6LA / VY2TT _______________________________________________ CQ-Contest mailing list CQ-Contest@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/cq-contest |
