as i noted, it is possible that some of these are software problems. i
know n1mm (at least older versions) could get stuck in a mode where they
were supposed to spot s&p qso's automatically and would forget you were
running instead and start spotting whoever you worked. and bad radio
interfaces can put spots on the wrong frequency as was noted in one case.
if it is a software or radio problem hopefully this will provide some key
to tracking it down and preventing it in the future as it not only puts
out bad spots for the rest of us, but can mess up your run when stations
start showing up looking to work some rare mult on your frequency.
