Ok, HFers. Here's your chance to try "Contesting in
the Sunlight" for yourselves...using the most HF-like
VHF band available: 6-meters!

--- The event ----------------------------------
The Fall 50 MHz Sprint starts 2300 UTC Saturday,
October 22, 2005 and ends 0300 UTC Sunday, October 23,
2005.

Exchange: Call signs and Grid-square locator.

--- The software -------------------------------
http://w2ev.rochesterny.org/DXDashLogger Actually,
this is where you can get more information about what
to expect. The software is "almost ready" for more
widespread release. Just another few days to go.

--- The foundation -----------------------------
You will need Internet access (dial-up or always-on)
in your ham shack and the knowledge that this is a
"late alpha" product at this point. Treat logging
accordingly.

--- More information ---------------------------
Join the DXDash Logger e-newsletter list by sending a
blank e-mail to
mailto:DXDashLogger-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

When DXDash Logger is released, that is where it will
be announced and made available. Development is in
final pre-release testing right now...with a very
powerful new publicly-accessible mapping feature.

"Welcome to the next level" :)

Regards,
Ev, W2EV
